Staying up till the wee hours of the morning has become a luxury.
The night bird in me makes staying up late an easy task but getting up early an arduous task. To accommodate school or work schedules, bed times have had to be pushed forward and late night music sessions put on hold while the body is forced to recharge and creative energy is diminished. The temporary absence of these obligations, however, has allowed for more nights of solitude, quiet and reflection.
It’s the only time this city seems to stand still. It’s the only time my mind seems to unwind as thoughts disentangle, collide and converge into an endless whirl.

In Singapore, the festive season never seems to end. Christmas jumps straight to New Year, which then rolls into Chinese New Year for 3 months of non-stop eating and good fun.
Time to go for a run..

I love December.
I love being home with family and friends, soaking up the warmth that surrounds Christmas and celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.
Since returning to Singapore, I have been to the new integrated resort at Marina Bay Sands, enjoyed carols at the Esplanade, shared a lovely Christmas dinner with family, met up with old school friends and spent a day at Universal Studios.
Good things come with love, it seems, along with the generous abundance of God’s blessings.
